Ministry of Economy And Trade
Following the establishment and separation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Ministry of Trade and Ministry of Transportation in 1931 and 1939 respectively, the responsibility field of the Ministry of Trade had shrinked considerably which lasted until 1949. In 1949, Ministry of Trade and Ministry of Economy were merged again and the Ministry of Economy and Trade was established. However, one year later, Department of Enterprises was separated and the Ministry of Enterprises was established. General Directorate of Mineral Research and Exploration, Sumerbank, Etibank and several state economic enterprises established between 1950-1957 such as Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation, General Directorate of Iron and Steel Enterprises were affiliated with this ministry.
